About A Slice of New York Pizza

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (714) 846-1900. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, sliceofnewyorkca.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 270 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Huntington Beach and suggests consistent service.
Huntington Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Huntington Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Paying for $34 where's the food I thought I was getting a good amount I got some cheese ravioli with meat sauce it comes with garlic bread, I got a side of meatballs, and I got some garlic cheese bread. All of the pasta was stuck together, there was barely any meat in the meat sauce, the pasta was hard to chew, the meatballs were so tiny I don't understand how they could be that much for so little it should be half the price of what they are asking for. The only thing that was okay was the garlic cheese bread but was such a disappointment. I live closer to the one in Seal Beach this one's nicer and more spacious and you can actually sit in the restaurant. The employees are friendly but the food was not it. If I do go back it will be for pizza probably what they're known for because pasta and meatballs is not it. I'm just so disappointed I've never felt so disappointed I wish I could ask for my money back.

I often order the pizza by the slice but today I ordered a veggie slice of pizza and I guess they didnβt have it, but instead of telling me that they just threw on uncooked veggie toppings. The slice was cold when I got to my car and the Pell peppers and onion were raw.

I was disappointed this time around. The service was left to a young lady who was unaware to focus on the front door more than the necessary sweeping of the kitchen and prep floor area . Incidentally, I could see the floor, it looked quite clean. π€ I patiently waited at the front counter in sight of all for about 3 minutes. I mean 180 seconds. It feels like a long wait to be recognized and greeted. I'm a long time (30+ years) experienced customer sales and service Director. I am fairly judging this establishment for not properly training the customer facing employee before turning them loose on your face of the business.

The pizza is consistently good. The crust is delightfully crisp. The Margherita is a winner too. ************* House Signature was on point today; very much on par with great slices Iβve had in Manhattan. The Hawaiian as well; ample pineapple and quality Canadian bacon. My only remaining ask would be that they add a Sicilian to the menu. Wow! The BBQ Chicken is great. Definitely upping to 4+! ***************** They are upping their game. Pizza was perfect today. Crust was flexibly crisp. Toppings and sauces were quality. Even without a Sicilian, I am giving them 5 stars.
